Need a Job? VSO is Hiring at New Chapters
I’m celebrating Memorial Day by providing our nation’s struggling veterans with lots of job opportunities.
My agency, Veterans Support Organization (VSO), has opened five new chapters across the country in recent months, enabling us to create 40 to 50 new jobs, mostly for veterans who have had a hard time finding work during these challenging economic times.
With new jobs in Maryland, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas, and other states, I’m proud to say that VSO is taking more homeless or nearly homeless veterans off the streets and giving them employment to turn their lives around.
In all, we employ more than 100 veterans in fundraising jobs and provide homes for many of them through our housing programs.
Our work and housing programs would not be possible without generous donors who make a difference with every penny they give to VSO. Thank you, all.
So, on this Memorial Day, as we remember the sacrifices of our military members and their families, it’s also important to honor veterans who have struggled deeply in recent years as they transitioned from the Armed Forces to civilian life.
At VSO, we are working to help these veterans. I, again, thank our supporters for giving us the chance to expand and provide employment for more veterans desperately wanting to work.
VSO is hiring. If interested in working for VSO, please send us an email with your name, the city you live in, and a phone number where we can reach you. Send the email to:
