VSO Showcased in Georgia News Story

Veterans Support Organization’s Georgia chapter was featured today in a long article in Snellville.Patch.Com, a popular news site serving the suburbs of Atlanta.

The 1,080-word article, entitled “Homeless, Jobless Veterans in Snellville Find Hope,” tells the story of how VSO transformed the lives of four struggling military veterans.

The men were homeless and unemployed until VSO offered them housing, jobs and a positive path toward reshaping their lives.

“'He took me off the streets,’ said Ackerman. ‘He gave me a wonderful job, and I sleep better at nights. I know this organization works, it saves lives. I get to sleep in a nice warm bed and buy myself food. It’s a blessing.’”
