Because the VSO is a 501(c)(3) organization, your contributions are all tax deductible.

When donating food, clothing, furniture or other non-monetary item, be sure to ask for a tax receipt, so you may claim your deduction on your annual return.

Of course, it is important for you to know how we use your donations to help the veterans we serve. The VSO is committed to putting money back into the communities we serve. Our Chief Financial Officer has prepared a short financial statement so you may review the disbursements to veterans and to the veteran agencies in your community.
