Veterans Support Organization (VSO) has donated $1,000 to the American Legion Post 318 in Port Saint Lucie, Fla. to buy food and gifts for needy veterans and their families during the holiday season.
“This is a time of year when we should all be thinking about the sacrifices our veterans have made for our country,” said Richard Van Houten, president and founder of VSO. “We’re proud to be supporting the great work that American Legion Post 318 is doing in the community to help our veterans.”
The money was given to families from the Thanksgiving to Christmas holidays.
